Highlander landing on skis

Post by gkremers »

Short video of an early morning flight for breakfast at Plainwell 61D. Unfortunately I didn't charge the VIRB up before leaving home so I didn't get the takeoff. It comes off the deep snow very easily with the wide Summit skis.

Another 2 months or so before the lakes open up and the floats can go back on.

Love the video. I’m an engineer and spelling, grammatically correct sentances have always been a challenge. A special thanks to God, for having someone smart enough to come up with spell checkers & auto corrections.

What brand skis are these? Did they work out well for you? I am looking into skis for a Highlander. Do skis even work with 29" tires?

No, they state 8.50-6 tires.

Correct... You need 8.50 - 6. Same with a Carbon Cub
