Looking for a propeller

Post by Xengineguy »

Hi everyone, looking to purchase a prop for my superstol 914. What do you think is the best value out there now.
I would prefer ground adjustable, but open to all thoughts. Something easy on the gear box (light weight)
Used in very nice shape would be considered also. Thanks for your input! :D :D

Hi Clark,
I have had 75” powerfin blades on order for quite some time. (Didn’t think I was going to get them.) I already owned the three blade hub assembly..
Got an email they were shipped and received them today. I had a 70” on my Kitfox it performed very good!
I know it’s a very light propeller. I don’t think bird strikes would do it any good! Time will tell. :D

For your aircraft and maximum performance, we offer a 2 or 3-blade propeller with sabre-shaped or straight blades with a diameter of 78.7". Both the price and quality will suit you.

That’s a good looking prop. My powerfin prop came in, but it’s not what I expected. I think I have a prop
on order that’s similar to the two blade in the picture. Are you affiliated with NR props? Sr118 2000 is what I have coming.

It may be interesting to read.
Here is interesting information about the testing of propellers, including very expensive ones:
