Re: Final Assembly ( In Progress )

.
Backing up ...I've gotta remove the fuel tank ...
I'll try to get work done on a primer line ...., Also another line for a sight gauge...
Meanwhile ....the firewall needs access to the back side ...Brackets for the oil cooler
and , I should put some batting / Sound damper on the cabin side ...
.
While it's out , I'm gonna modify the brass T....
Tapping into that area for primer and sight gauge can be "shut off" by the main fuel shut-off.
.
I'll find a picture of the brass T

actually , in the picture you can see where the primer line goes (paper mockup ) ...short hop.
The line for the sight gauge will go from the T to the vent at the top of the tank...using optical effects ....no , not a laser show
more like a light bender
.
Gotta Fly...

PS...This will tell me how much needs to be removed (throttle/Mixture plate needs to be dropped down)
Then disconnect fuel line and filler neck ...then 2 straps
The panel shouldn't be in the way ...or the stick.
Hopefully that's all ...
I'll never put fuel in this tank while it goes back in the fab shop .
When I DO start this engine ...which I'm working towards ...I'll use a remote gas can .
I guess tank testing is LAST ...DONE...
