The seats in my first plane didn't have Lumbar Support until I modified it...
viewtopic.php?f=180&t=4575
These have built in Lumbar.
.
I've sat in the plane for a whole movie(2 hours)...Just to test the seat comfort.
Very comfortable.
.
It took DAYS to drill all the holes.
But they are VERY light...and pretty strong

Gotta Fly...
.
PS The seats and covers were bought at "JEGS"

I had rearranged a Tailwind "Sticker" for a Buttercup Sticker...
A guy made several for me , I put this one out of the way.
a little old school for a 1938 plane.

it will cast a shadow that sez "Buttercup"

I was making some plugs that I could follow after I remove the top cowl ...(Baffling)
It's giving me a better idea , it's close.
.
I was checking some fit-ups and had the cowl buttoned up.
This was a good time to look at "the line" I'm choosing and maybe some marks for guides.
Well, masking tape is cheap.
This helps,still needs work.

Hey Guys,
Recovery from Winter takes awhile ...I'm finally looking under the cowl again ...
I got away from the baffling , but it just won't finish itself ...
I crowded things by putting the Harley in the shop.(easier to ride from there )
I did a little more work on the wings , but they are taking up valuable space .
After clearing the area , I put them back on the ceiling , safe and out of the way .
This time I turned them over , upright position .
.
I also need room to pull the big welder out a little ...I'll be Stick welding 7018 on the (bargain) snowblower outside the garage door .
.
Next, I will try to get paper mock-ups close enough to transfer something to Aluminum ...
Basically "Baby Steps "
I have 3 good base points established ....The top piece will also tie things together,
so I'm looking for Filler pieces to connect these base pieces together , yes it's Baffling ...
I liked the idea a guy is doing with the oil cooler , running a SCAT to it... it's an option I'll look into .
it's tight in that area ,plus less swinging on the engine
.
Gotta Fly...

PS I got more done on the runway ... and started my BFR in a Cessna 150 , it's good to get back in the air

A guy I worked with at Aircorps Aviation , has his own Spray Booth...Wow Bottom Ventilation

He says his spray booth is longer than the one they have at Aircorps Aviation , So I know my wings would fit.

It helps that he's familiar with Stitts / Polysprays and the different cross coats required and mixes.

lost a post , i hate when that happens.
.
I cleaned up the cowl while trying to locate some Dzus fasteners
meanwhile , I've been working on my Kolb.
.
Just happened to meet someone who does vac-u-form .
I cleaned up something I had for shaping a lens/wing tip that covered a strobe .
It will fit the plate I've made ...well, that's the plan

Gotta Fly...

PS...My wife thought I was making a boat
