Finishing someone else's project

Post by clfoster53 »

If I buy an incomplete experimental aircraft and finish the project, how does the FAA/DAR decide who was the majority builder? Do they simply look at hours logged during the building process?

I don't log building hours....

Just take pictures with you doing different projects...
.
If you do anywhere NEAR 51 percent... your good for the repairman's Cert

Gotta Fly...

PS Boils down to YOUR WORD.
Sometimes you just have to take the leap
and build your wings on the way down...
