"Tab" Holder - Gadget

Post by planecrazzzy »

.
... even tho I made up my own...Gadget

I hardly believe this was just invented...

I'll show you the features mine has...

I tried to keep the design simple...

It will get close to the end of the tube...

It holds the tab in line .... using the long rod attached to the jig.

Here's pictures of the Top , Bottom , and with the Alignment Rod

You can see I have enough room to Tack Weld the Tab , and remove the jig

I'll find some pictures that uses a "Spacer" in the jig , that lowers the tab "Deeper"...

This gives room for Vulcanized washers I use on SOME panels...

These panels are "Dimpled" and have a Vulcanized washer...

So , adding a spacer to the jig before screwing on the "tab"...

sets the tab inside the frame more...
