I'd like to know more of this powerplant is there anyone who may be able to fill me in on some additional details..?? IE. Brand,availability what this motor is typically used in that sort of thing..?

The engine is air-cooled diesel engine,only 64 kg but with 22 hp when 3600 rpm. Some peoples has developed this engine into Motorcycle. Fob shanghai is USD775 per engine. There is a gear box under this engine.

But the charges of EPA is too expensive. It need USD40000 now.,In the past almost 3 years, we never receive any container order from US. but we have sent hundreds of samples to US.We can not earn enough profit for EPA test.But,in EU, we sold some containers of diesel generator set under this engine, so, we have CE last year.even though CE is very cheap.

Older post, but price on this engine is a lot less( http://www.carrollstream.com/20HP_V_Twi ... ne_With_El ectric_Start_p/csr2v840.htm )has them at about $1800 I have been looking for both 50hp and 100hp engine ranges unless you were flying a Lazair, that seams to be the sweet spot for most of us. Does anyone have the weight on the VW TDI ?
