I have an 0-200a in my Zodiac 601 and would like to improve on the HP currently at 100. The compression is 7:1 so I believe there is a place where I can improve.
Does anyone have experience with this or can advise?
thanks

0200a upgrades
One way to increase hp and compression is to use the c85 pistons. I think that the use of 100ll would be required since it will increase the compression and the risk of detonation. The c85 pistons have the same bore but are a bit taller. Also I seem to remember a reprofiled after market cam shaft that might be worth looking into. Have a good one Roger

Re: 0-200
yeah. Better TBO=Money, LEss complex easy to work on= save money, tons of parts to be had and many used engines=saves money, sounds like a REAL airplane engine not an RC.S7flyer wrote:Has anyone found an advantage of this engine over the Rotax 912ULS?
