Re: 3D Highlander
Kevin,
Can I get the 3ds max file I would really like to take it and make it work in a flight simulator. I have access to the program and can export the models needed to build a X-plane aircraft.
Do you have any modeling of the instrument panel?
If I get this working, I'll have to get someone to see if it flys like the real thing. Most non profesional simulator ad-ons all fly like a c-172 and I would really like to get it to fly like the real thing -- as close as you can anyways.

Wow - what a great looking paint job. It will look even better in the air!

Yeah, Carl is quite the craftsman. With this being the second one for him, plus stealing all my best ideas
(and other peoples paint schemes...
) it's looking very nice. We will be doing some shopping for panel stuff at Oshkoh. I figure he will be flying in less than a couple months.

Re: 3D Highlander
Was the 3D Model ever made public? I'd like to start playing around with paint schemes while I'm building. For my last project, I used both MS Flightsim and X Plane with great success in getting the final outcome of my project? I've been unable to locate any Just Aircraft designs in any of these simulators. So, does anyone have a 3D model they're willing to share? I've also used this for doing paint schemes which is quite easy to use... http://www.airplanecolor.com/index.html .
What is everyone else using?

Re: 3D Highlander
There's now a Just SuperStol version available for X-Plane 9/10. Haven't tried it yet but the screenshots look good. Should be fun to play around with paint schemes.....

May even try and see if I can "tweek" a Highlander out of the model.

Does anyone have a SuperSTOL X-Plane model, or know where I could get one?

I tried the below x-plane link listed below, but it doesn’t work. I know I’ve seen a 3D Model of a SuperSTOL, but I have been able to locate the source.

Re: 3D Highlander
Paul, I'm not sure why X-Hangar pulled his Just aircraft design. I see discussions on the X-Plane forum about some compatibility issues with X-Plane 10 and 11. Doesn't explain why they didn't leave it up though. I'm guessing an email to the site owner might clear things up.
