Corvair Personal Cruiser

Post by Sean_Caranna »

I'm going to be watching this one closely.

I like the concept. They are shooting for a 2500 FPM Climb Rate!

Their website, http://corvaircruiser.com/, says they hope to be test flying by July 2004. This date has come and gone but it looks like they are making progress.

If anyone has more information on this please let us know!

Was there a full stress analysis done for this aircraft?
Sure is an interesting concept, is one flying yet?

Progress continues. Stress testing will take place as the plane gets closer to completion.
