WEIGHT SAVING MEASURES FOR SOOB 2.2L ?

Post by apophis »

Has any one tried  carbon fibre replacement parts on the 2.2 ? I know a few have tried to go composite with the oil pam , but what about the rocker covers - and so on ? - Just wondering how low I could go,  weight wise with a direct drive 2.2 L  ! .... Charlie Airesman (?) had a figure of about 225 LBS ? - that was some time back , and I don't know what it included  .

When the first-generation Mazda3 was released, it introduced a level of driving pleasure and a sense of quality which exceeded its class.
