New Wireless HD Camera Controller

Post by MotoCam360 »

FlightCam360, Bothell Washington, is proud to release the industry's first wireless multi-camera transceiver controller with real-time RF signal strength monitoring. This feature allows the user to "tune" their installation for maximum reliability and control across a variety of aviation platforms using a wide array of sometimes noisy avionics systems.

Our cameras offer the biggest batteries, best wireless range, active hand-shake feedback from the camera to the controller, and real-time signal strength monitoring. These features set our system miles apart from GoPro 3+ and Garmin Virb.

Lastly, our cameras offer a narrow field of view (120 degrees), which is a good fit for aviation applications because you need much more depth of field than width. Other competitive systems handle this digitally, while we handle it optically by using the right lens in the first place, which produces superior object size ratios in the HD video.

We have also upgraded the Li Ion batteries in each of our HD cameras. At 2200mA, each camera can record continuously for 4.5hrs. Since our controller shuts down the camera inbetween recording sessions, this battery will easily last most customers all day.

We have come up with a new format for presenting the data on screen that is more intuitive:
