I met the owner of this great looking plane at Golden West the year before last and I believe he was from either Wash. or Oregon. Make and model of this kit are what I'm after, but if you recognize the airplane and have any more info, that would be great too.

This is a Rans S-7 Courier.  It is available as a kit, quick-build kit, or ready to fly S-LSA.  Rans makes excellent kits.  I have built 5 of them.  I have known Randy Schlitter, the president, for 25 years.  Here is their website:
