Landshorter Vortex Generators
I used the Landshorter brand vortex generators that came with my kit. I tried their landshorter.com website today and it looks like it's a dead link. Anyone know if they are still around?

That does not look promising, try calling. I have tel:1-877-272-1414 listed for them.

Re: Landshorter Vortex Generators
I found this post on the Supercub forum dated 10/22/18.
"Joa here, founder of Landshorter. My wife and kids still sell VGs, mostly to OEMs like Just Aircraft, Kitfox, Aerodyne, etc. I'm just too busy with my aircraft certification (DER) and composites business to do retail sales. Hence the dead link on my site."
It sounds like we can still get them from Just Aircraft

Re: Landshorter Vortex Generators
There are similar generators for sale on EBay for about half the price.

Re: Landshorter Vortex Generators
Yeah, but those are cheap Chinese ones and they spin the vortices the wrong direction.

VGs are not Rocket Science, looks like a good price. I’d try them.

Maybe I was a little too tongue-in-cheek.

Re: Landshorter Vortex Generators
We had the same problem with reversed vortices. At first, we thought it was because we installed vortex generators on an aircraft that had an alternator, and we should have bought vortex alternators. We couldn't find any.danerazz wrote:Maybe I was a little too tongue-in-cheek.
We finally fixed the wrong-direction vortices by taking the VGs off and reinstalling them on the opposite wings.
Yep, that's my story.
