I have the smaller of Pekola's locking tailwheels and it's super nice but with the heavy tail on the Superstol it sinks in soft sand super easy. I end up on quite a bit of sandy stuff and the tailwheel will sink out of sight. I just want more floatation. Robby Pedersen has the bigger Matco and it floats much better.

What is the width of the Matco Robby is using? Is the Pekola your using the same width as what Pekola has on their website(i think it 4 or 4 1/2")

My 10" Pekola tailwheel is 3-1/2" wide at the tread. Tire size is 4.10/3.50-4.

I had the SuperSTOL tailwheel mount added to the Highlander at the factory. I temporarily installed both the Pekola stinger tailwheel and the original Highlander tailwheel. The SS mount places the tailwheel 8" to 9" forward.

Yeah, it looked interesting. And it would make for some headscratching on the ramp...

The locking stainless forceps are a must have tool for getting the washers onto bolt on flap track(I’m Installing Billy Payne’s Flap Track bearings...3 washers each side of bearing). For tighter spots using tweezers with the locking forceps to hold them tight works excellent too. The tool in my hand is just a zit popper tool lol...but it could be used in certain spots as well.

Extra long drill bits - both aircraft length and the really long ones - in 1/4" , 5/16, and 3/8"

and a set of reamers if those haven't been mentioned.
