Troy told me an update will be very soon. I told him the same. I’m ready to buy. The information he told me is very exciting but I’m not at liberty to pass it on. I think you’ll be very happy. I am courage you to call him, it might speed things up.

I've been to waiting to see if anyone else was going to bring this up, but I have not seen any information anywhere on it. On Just's site it now shows that the 103 will be built by a different company and they have an email address to contact. When I emailed that address, I get an automatic reply stating "Thanks for subscribing to our news letter!" nothing more.

Does anyone know or heard of who will be building it?

For the ones that saw the 103 Solo at the factory and did not want to release any updated info about it (which i understand for that time) why not put out the changes you observed now?

In the Conversation I had with Troy he indicated that the move would still be "In the Family". Just speculation here, but maybe he's setting up a new company Just to market the 103. Like you I am very interested in owning one. BUT,,,As I have said before; "Never fly the 'A' model of anything". I'm very happy that My Highlander is #393. There are a lit of Mods that are standard on the later models.

Cheers,
Bruce

Thanks Bruce. I would be happy if it’s still in the family. I’ll never understand the lack of information about it though. There was/is a lot of interest in it. I don’t see what it would hurt to keep the public informed on the progress/updates and additional info.

While I see your point on the A model of anything, I’m willing to take that gamble with something from just. I would love a highlander but at this point in time it’s not the right time. An ultralight would get me back in the air again on my own terms not scheduling around students at an fbo.

Has this thread gone dead? How long did the Manhattan Project take?

Bevan,

Yep the thread is dead. No information being put out about it means nothing to talk about. Hopefully by the time I’m too old to qualify for a medical they’ll start producing it.

Looks like the webpage has been updated and says they will be contracting with Top Rudder Aircraft LLC. Looks like that company now has a Facebook page with some pics. Potential progress.

Thanks for the heads up! I had forgotten about the 103. If "They" get it up and flying and a good kit. That will be my next project. Which goes with the Withdraw Thread below this one

Top Rudder website is up now and they’re taking deposits for orders. Just FYI for anyone interested.

A bit pricy. But I think the basic kit, Yamaha Phaser, Skytrex gear box, and Oratex would do the trick. Oh Crap............. Here we go again

I was thinking about the Phaser too. The slats seem like they might be interesting. I've never done a build before so I don't know if I'm equipped to be the first. Such a cool package it would be with a Phaser though.

Since Teal Jenkins now has a SkyTrex gear box for the Phaser; This is a game changer for the Ruckus. Here is a vid for Kolb with a Phaser, albeit a clutch for a pusher:
