Titan Engine Shipping Warning

Post by BDA »

I Just received my Titan 0-340, and had to send it back for repair.

It was damaged in shipping - Sent to me in a Cardboard box, not bolted down securely. The "crate" was torn in half, most of it missing, damage to valve covers, damage to sparkplugs, mount bolts fallen out.

JB at Titan has been very helpful and assured me that they will take care of it.

BEWARE!! Do not let them send you a new engine in a cardboard box.

My story is probably unique - shipping to Alaska - but - DO NOT SHIP AN ENGINE IN CARDBOARD
