It's a no brainer considering only about 20 - 23 inches remains to be covered. Those concerned about the weight should re-calculate ........Heliojoe.
As far as lightening the wing structure as a skin stressed airframe would be - That is total wing redesign. BIG difference between metalized wing and stressed skin wing.
On the plus side - a metalized wing will tolerate more speed - not that we will see more than 150 kts (that's when the fabric wings start to get wrinkely.
