Anyone know what the fly-in rate is at the Hampton? Haven't had a chance to call. I did check the web and was surprised how much prices increased for the Labor Day weekend. Currently listed at $229/night, ouch!

I just reserved a room at Hampton $217.55 per night for the weekend. I asked the lady why it was so high, and she said they just got a Casino nearby, and it has driven up the costs. I wonder how much to stay at the Casino? Anyone know the name of the Casino.

It's probably Harrah's Cherokee Valley River Hotel & Caesar's Casino (https://www.caesars.com/harrahs-cheroke ... iver/hotel).

It's $399/night, so the Hampton can charge more than before and still be a lower-cost provider.

Where is the nearest motel with a big grassy field next door LOL
My other flying plans may go away due to the tropical storm (hope so  )
If so, I'll be camping unless the better half wants to drive up and spend the night.
