Wild Thing Taildragger

Post by Jersey »

Hi Folks

Thought I post some pics of my Wild Thing taildragger here. I built it from a kit. The manufacturer is a German company called ULBI (Ultra Leicht Bau International, for those of you who speak the language). Classic aluminium construction powered by the Jabiru 3300 engine, 2 seats and a hughe baggage compartment, tundra tires and great STOL performance. I've flown her for around 300 hrs. now and just love that girl!     (Although I would probably not spend all that time again polishing the metal .... 3 weeks of pure misery!)

Hope you like the pics ...

Cheers,
Jersey

Really nice looking bird! Do you have a link to the kit manufacturer?
