I got my Conversion Manual today...

Post by planecrazzzy »

Looks like a good manual,

I'll be looking for an engine to build... I'm Building a Wittman Buttercup , and I'm putting a Corvair engine in it...

In fact William is building a Buttercup too... sez he's putting the engine a couple inches forward...

I'm not sure why you didn't see any support. I've been pretty impressed with the Corvair engine users I've met, and have had good conversations with William Wynne and some of his co-developers. I'm not selling my manual, and I plan on going to the next Corvair College.

I think your eventual choice of an O-235 for the project is a good one, but an O-235 won't fit in my Highlander, whereas the O-200 will. But if I'm going to put an O-200 in, I can have the Corvair, and that seems like a good choice. Mine will be the second Corvair in a Highlander; the first may well be flying this summer.

I'm glad it's working for you....

I found I wasn't alone... Others found the same problems " I " was having ....

Another "note".... Wayne was helpful "until" I bought the book...

Then I was ignored... I wrote several times... Nothing.

I felt scammed...
